Colgate University Athletics

Walt Runge was the starting fullback for the Colgate football team 1902-05. He is regarded as one of Colgate’s greatest athletes during the early 1900s. The captain of the 1905 football team totaled 13 varsity letters - four each in football, basketball and baseball and one in track.
