Frank Warren was Colgate’s top singles and doubles players in tennis between 1946-49. A four-year letterman, he posted a collegiate singles record of 46-6 and doubles mark of 47-5. When named captain in 1949, he became the first athlete in Colgate’s history to serve in that position for three consecutive years. He was a quarterfinalist in the 1949 Eastern Intercollegiate tennis championships. Warren also lettered two years in basketball and is regarded as one of Colgate’s all-time great sixth man.
