HALL OF HONOR
John DaGrosa lettered three years in football between 1923 and 1925. A standout center for the Red Raiders, he was said to be one of the finest lineman in the East. He was named second team on the Cutler’s All-America Football Elevens, second team all-East, and honorable mention All-America by Charles E. Parker. DaGrosa was the primary blocker for All-American Ed Tryon on Colgate’s unbeaten 1925 team (7-0-2) with wins over Michigan State, Syracuse and Brown. He later was a respected line coach at Georgetown and Temple.
