HALL OF HONOR
Melissa Rawson was a two-sport star for the Raiders earning four letters in softball and volleyball. In softball, she was named the Patriot League Player of the Year in 2003 and was a four-time all-Patriot League player. She was also an all-Mid Atlantic selection twice and finished her career with a career batting average of .383. At the time of her graduation she was Colgate’s all-time leader in home runs (30), RBI (127), runs scored (143), hits (223), doubles (47), total bases (376) and slugging percentage (.646). In volleyball, she helped lead Colgate to a Patriot League championship in 1999 and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. She was named Colgate’s Most Valuable Offensive and Defensive Player in 2002. In 2015, Rawson was named to the Patriot League 25th all-anniversary softball team.
