Curt Norris made his collegiate mark in basketball earning three varsity letters from 1948-50. In his senior year, he finished 10th nationally in free throw percentage (.810) and 24th in points per game with 16.5. During his final season Norris broke the single game scoring mark with 42 points against Alfred University. He made 14 of 24 shots from the floor and 14 of 16 free throws. Colliers and Sports Magazine named Norris honorable mention All-America in his senior year. He also lettered in track during his sophomore and junior seasons.
