Barry Small was a varsity letterwinner on four Colgate soccer teams between 1972 and 1975. He concluded a brilliant career with a second team All-American selection in his senior year. At the time of his graduation, he was third in career points (48), fourth in goals (22), third for points in a season (26) and sixth for goals in a season (10). Captain of the 1975 squad, he was a two-time All-New York Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
