Eugene Robinson lettered three years in football, '82, '83, and '84. A two-year starter for the Red Raiders in his sophomore and junior seasons, he intercepted a pass and made 34 tackles. During his senior year, he made 52 tackles and two interceptions as a defensive back. Robinson played on two Division I-AA playoff teams at Colgate before embarking upon a professional career in the NFL. He started his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks where he played for 11 seasons (1985- 95). He was twice named to Pro Bowl winning the honor in 1992 and 1993, and was the Seattle NFL Man of the Year in 1991, 1992 and 1995. After the 1995 season, Robinson signed with the Green Bay Packers, where he played on two Super Bowl teams. Green Bay won the Super Bowl in 1996, earning him his championship ring. In 1998, Robinson played in his third straight Super Bowl after moving to the Atlantic Falcons. After two seasons with the Falcons, he played one year with the Carolina Panthers where he finished his NFL career after the 2000 season. In 16 seasons, Robinson made 1,415 tackles, 57 interceptions and 22 fumble recoveries.
