HALL OF HONOR
Sandy Baur played three different sports and totaled nine varsity letters while at Colgate. She was a member of Colgate’s first-ever varsity teams in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse during the 1973-74 season and also competed on the teams when they were club sports along with tennis and volleyball. She was one of the founding Mother’s, so to speak, of women’s athletics at Colgate. Baur served as captain of all three sports teams in her senior season and served as a captain for a total of six seasons between the three sports. She was captain of the 1975 field hockey team which posted a 14-3 record, the winningest season in Colgate history.
