HALL OF HONOR
Tom Parr’s brilliant football career at Colgate was highlighted by his selection as an Associated Press honorable mention All-America pick in his senior year. He was the first of three quarterbacks (Rick Leach, Michigan, and Bill Hurley, Syracuse) in NCAA history to rush for more than 2,000 yards and pass for more than 3,000. In his senior year Parr was also selected for the ECAC, New York Times and AP All-East teams. At the time of his graduation the former Red Raider captain owned Colgate records for touchdown passes thrown in a game, career total offense, career rushing touchdowns, most touchdowns scored in a career, most touchdowns responsible for in a game and career, and longest TD pass.
