HALL OF HONOR
Ray Ilg, a three-year letterman, was an outstanding linebacker for the Red Raiders between 1964-66. The former captain earned honorable mention Associated Press and ECAC All-East honors as a junior in 1965. In his senior year, Ilg captured honorable mention All-America recognition and All-East honors. During his varsity career, Colgate was 21-6-2 overall including an 8-1-1 mark in 1966, the best record since the 1932 team. A three-year letterwinner in baseball, Ilg was a honorable mention All-America in his senior year and an All-East selection in his junior and senior seasons. Following his collegiate career, Ilg played two seasons (1967-68) for the Boston Patriots in the American Football League.
