HALL OF HONOR
Kevin Rusch had an outstanding swimming career with the Red Raiders from 1982-85. He is considered to be one of the most talented male swimmers to ever compete at Colgate. A four-year letterwinner, Rusch was awarded the Douglas McDeritt Award for outstanding ability as a swimmer at the Upper New York State Swimming Championships. One-time holder of 13 Colgate freshman, varsity and pool records. He held five varsity records during his collegiate career in the 50-yard freestyle, 100 and 200-yard backstroke, and 100 and 200-yard butterfly. As a sophomore he was named to the all-Eastern College Athletic Conference in the 100-meter butterfly and had an unprecedented 75-5 dual meet record.
