Beth Moseley was a varsity letterwinner 10 times while participating in field hockey (1979-80), basketball (1980-83) and softball (1980-83). In her senior year she was the recipient of the Sandy Baur Award, given to the female athlete who shows the greatest dedication, contribution and excellence in the women’s athletic program. As a member of the softball team, Moseley was Colgate’s leading hitter in her senior season with a .430 batting average, the third highest in school history at that time. She was the ninth in the nation among all hitters. Moseley also finished with a team high 19 runs batted in while being named to the NYSAIAW Division II All-State Tournament team. During her sophomore campaign, the Raiders with the NYSAIAW Division II state champions. In basketball, Moseley played in 99 games while scoring 790 points and grabbing 523 rebounds. As a sophomore, she helped the Raiders to the NYSAIAW Division II championship while averaging 6.0 points per game and 4.8 rebounds. Then in her junior season, she averaged 11.7 points per game and 6.4 rebounds. In field hockey, Moseley was a member of the 1979 and 1980 teams that participated in the AIAW Division II Nationals.
