Greg Manusky was a four-year letterwinner in football from 1984 through 1987. In his senior season, Manusky was named first team Division I-AA All-America on the Associated Press, Walter Camp, and Football News teams, while earning second team honors on The Sports Network team. He also was the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and first team all-Patriot League and an ECAC Division I-AA All-Star. Manusky played in the Blue-Gray Football Classic. As a junior, Manusky was first team all-Patriot League while leading the Raiders in tackles. In his sophomore season, he broke his ankle in the sixth game but still managed to finish as one of the team’s top tacklers. He was one of five freshmen to earn a letter in his rookie season. Manusky was the first two-time winner of Colgate’s Hal W. Lahar Trophy, awarded annually to the most valuable defensive player, and was named to the Patriot League All-Anniversary Team in 2000. Following graduation, Manusky signed with the Washington Redskins (1988-1990) and later, played with the Minnesota Vikings (1991-93) and Kansas City Chiefs (1994-99). In 1991, he was selected to the all-Madden Team. After ending a 12-year playing career in 1999, Manusky entered the coaching ranks in the National Football League.
