Vicky Chun was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball from 1988-91. During her outstanding collegiate career, she was named the 1991 Patriot League Player of the Year and first all-Patriot League in her final two seasons. As a senior she was the conference leader in assist average while setting a school record with 2,440 career assists. Chun was voted the team’s most inspirational player in 1990 and 1991 while leading the Red Raiders to the Patriot League championship in her final campaign. She came back to coach volleyball at Colgate from 1994- 96. Chun led Colgate to two consecutive Patriot League titles and the school’s first-ever NCAA tournament berth in 1996. Her overall record was 67-27-4 and she was the 1996 Patriot League Coach of the Year and 1997 co-winner of Colgate’s Howard Hartman Coach of the Year Award. Chun was named to the Patriot League 25th all-anniversary volleyball team in 2015.
