HALL OF HONOR
Nick Mehler began his Colgate football career on the 1923 freshman team. He played the fullback position during the 1924 varsity season before moving to quarterback for the 1925 and 1926 campaigns. The 1925 season found the Red Raiders unbeaten, defeating Princeton, Michigan State and Syracuse among other powers. Serving as captain for the 1926 squad, Mehler led the team to a 5-2-2 record with indentical 10-10 ties with both Brown and Syracuse, and he received the Syracuse game ball. Aside from football, Mehler was a varsity wrestler for one year, played varsity golf for two years, and was a third team All-America lacrosse player in 1927.
