 Mike Ferrara finished his basketball career as Colgate’s all-time scoring leader of 1,763 points, while setting records for most points in a season (772) and one game (50). In 1980-81, Ferrara was the second leading scorer in the nation with a school-record 28.6 points per game. He was ECAC North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year and set Great Alaska Shootout records for points in a game (37) and for the tournament (83). A honorable mention All-America by the “Sporting News”, Ferrara was a third round selection by the Washington Bullets in the National Basketball Association draft in 1981.
