Tom Wilson played football for four years and earned three varsity letters. In 1966 he was third nationally in pass interceptions and at the time of his graduation was the holder of Colgate records for most passes intercepted in a season and during a career as well as most punt returns in a game, in a season and in a career. He was equally at home on the baseball diamond where he played three years and earned two letters. In the 1965 season, as a sophomore, Wilson led the Colgate team in hitting with a .432 average, runs scored, number of hits, doubles, triples and RBI’s finishing ninth nationally in batting. These efforts earned him third team All-America selection by the American Association of Baseball Coaches.
