HALL OF HONOR
James Russell was a three-year starter on the Colgate basketball team 1973-75. After graduation he played for the Canadian Olympic basketball team in the 1976 Olympics at Montreal. The 1974-75 cocaptain scored 927 points and grabbed 463 rebounds during his collegiate career. He led the Red Raiders in rebounding in each of his varsity seasons. Russell also played for the Canadian National Team in the World Championships in Puerto Rico in 1974. He was inducted into the Canada Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.
