Tucker Neale was a three-year letterwinner in basketball. He graduated as Colgate’s all-time leading scorer with 2,075 points. In three seasons, Neale left a lasting mark on the basketball program while leading the Raiders to their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The three-time all-league performer was the 1994 Patriot League Player of the Year. In his senior year, he finished 17th in the nation in scoring while averaging 23.1 points per game. He set a pair of Patriot League records -most 3-point field goals made in a career (248) and most 3-point field goal attempts in a career (624). Along with his school record for most points in a career and 3-point field goals made in a career, he also broke the mark for free throws made in a career with 469. As a junior, Neale was fifth in the nation in scoring with 26.6 points per game - the second highest total in school history. His 771 points was the second highest point total in CU history and the most ever by a junior. He was the first Raider to score 600-plus points in two different seasons. In his first year with the Raiders, Neale led the league in scoring with 21.9 points per game, a feat which ranked 34th nationally. In 2015, Neale was named to the Patriot League 25th all-anniversary basketball team.
