Kelly Andrews earned 10 varsity letters during her standout career with the Raiders. She lettered four times in volleyball (1976-79), three times in basketball (1977-79), and three times in lacrosse (1978-80). Andrews was captain of volleyball three seasons and of lacrosse in her senior season. In lacrosse, Andrews guided the Raiders to three straight appearances in the New York State AIAW Tournament. During her junior season, she helped the Raiders post a school-record 17 victories, while winning the NYSAIAW and USNWIILT Division II titles. Her volleyball featured Colgate making four straight appearances in the New York State AIAW Tournament, and advancing to the Easterns in her junior and senior season with the first back-to-back 20-win seasons in school history. As a basketball player, Andrews led the Raiders in rebounding in 1977-78 with 11.0 caroms per outing, and set the school record for rebounds in a game, when she hauled down 23 against Syracuse. In 1980, she was the co-winner of the Sandy Baur Award, given to the female athlete who showed the greatest dedication, contribution and excellence in the women's athletic program.
