HALL OF HONOR
Bob Duffy was an extremely talented basketball player who held Colgate’s all-time scoring leadership with 1,591 points for 19 years. A third team Helm Foundation All-America in 1962, Duffy finished his collegiate career holding records for most points-one game, most points-one season, most points-career, most field goals-one season, highest scoring average-one season, and highest scoring average-career. He played professional basketball (1962-64) with the St. Louis Hawks, N.Y. Knicks and Detroit Pistons. After his pro career, Duffy came back to his alma mater where he was the youngest major college basketball coach in the country while guiding the Red Raiders for three seasons.
