Suzanne Bowen was a four-year letterwinner in basketball from 1988- 91. She finished her career as Colgate’s all-time scorer with 2,016 points and second in rebounding with 947. Bowen, who served as captain in her junior and senior seasons, also placed in the Top 10 for scoring average, rebounding average, assists, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, steals and blocked shots. She remains the only woman to score over 2,000 career points. As a senior she was first team all-Patriot League and second team all-Eastern College Athletic Conference. She finished 24th in the nation in scoring with 22.0 points per game. As a junior she was first team all-North Atlantic Conference and a member of the NAC all-tournament team.
