Bob Smith was selected as an All-America football guard in 1932 after leading Colgate to its famous undefeated, untied, unscored upon and uninvited season. He was the smallest and lightest offensive lineman to earn All-America honors. Smith also played in the 1932 East-West game. The captain of the 1932 team led the Raiders to a 26-2 record during his career.
