HALL OF HONOR
David McIntyre had one of the most remarkable careers in Colgate Hockey history. A 2009 Hobey Baker Finalist and First Team All-American, McIntyre finished 24th in program history in career scoring and sixth in games played. He was a two-time ECAC All-League selection, earning first team in 2009 and second team in 2010. McIntyre served as team captain his senior year and was a three-time ECAC All-Academic honoree. He also earned the program’s Rob Ries Memorial Award and the Terry Slater Trophy in addition to garnering Colgate’s Director of Athletics Award in 2010. He went on to play in the AHL and eventually the NHL with the Minnesota Wild before playing 10 seasons in Europe, retiring in March 2024.
