Reed Hagmann, the first Colgate men’s tennis player to receive a National ITA ranking, graduated as the University’s all-time singles wins leader (89) and a two-time Patriot League singles champion in 2001 and 2002. A four-time All-Patriot League First Team selection, Hagmann earned a pair of conference major awards with Rookie of the Year in 2002 and Player of the Year in 2005. He played in every match at No. 1 singles and doubles, posting a 46-24 overall record. He capped off his brilliant career by going undefeated, 6-0 in singles and 5-1 in doubles during Patriot League play. Hagmann was a key contributor to Colgate’s 2002 team that reached the Patriot League championship, helping the Raiders share the regular season title in 2004. Hagmann, a two-time singles conference champion, is a member of the Patriot League’s 25th All-Anniversary Team.
