Gail Majdalany was Colgate’s first woman All-America diver, earning the distinction in 1978 and 1979. A four-year letterwinner, she placed fourth in the AIAW Nationals in the one-meter dive and fifth in the threemeter in her senior year. In addition, Majadalany was the one and three-meter New York State AIAW champion as a freshman and state champion in the one-meter as a sophomore. During her collegiate career, she held the varsity record in the one and three-meter dives, while serving as co-captain for the 1976- 77 season.
