HALL OF HONOR
Milt Graham established himself as a solid performer on the gridiron and hardwood during his collegiate days. In football, he came to Colgate with no high school experience but developed into a standout player. A two-year letterwinner in football at end, Graham earned honorable mention Associated Press All-East honors in 1954 before capturing United Press International honorable mention All-America honors in his senior year. In basketball, Graham lettered three years while serving as captain in his senior year. Following his collegiate career, he was drafted by the Chicago Bears of the National Football League and Syracuse Nationals of the National Basketball Association. He continued his football career in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa Rough Riders between 1956-61. While with the Rough Riders, Graham was on the CFL All-Star team in 1958 and a member of the championship Grey Cup team in 1960. Between 1961-63, Graham played for the Boston Patriots of he American League, winning the team’s Unsung Hero Award in 1962.
