Burrell played five years of varsity lacrosse, including his final two seasons at Blue Ridge School…helped the Barons win the BRAC Championship and finish as Division I state semifinalist in 2023...also helped his team claim the VIC Championship as a junior…was named team captain during his final season…played club for ADVNC National, and was a member of the squad that finished as Crabfeast semifinalist in 2022…in the classroom he was named to the Headmasters List five times and earned the English Department Award and the Frank Pendleton Award…was also a member of the National Honor Society
Stats: Logged a .600 save percentage during his high school career, including a .630 percentage as a senior
Honors: Earned second team all-state, first team all-conference, and first team All-Central Virginia in 2023…was named first team all-state, first team all-conference, and first team All-Central Virginia in 2022…also earned team MVP honors as a junior
