A 2025 graduate of Staples High School, Schaefer was a four-year varsity member…helped the Wreckers become three-time State Champions (2022, 2023, 2025) and FCIAC Champions (2024)... the Connecticut native was a caption his senior year... he played club lacrosse with Eclipse.
Stats: Tallied 127 career points from 93 goals and 34 assists... Schaefer scored 51 goals and tallied 15 assists his senior year.
Honors: Earned All-American status in 2025, was a two-time First Team All-State selection (2024, 2025), and two-time First Team All-FCIAC honoree (2024, 2025).
