CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Colgate outscored No. 15 Harvard in each of the final three quarters to erase an early deficit and take a 19-15 road win Tuesday afternoon at Jordan Field.

"Today was an excellent display of grit and toughness from our team. We went down early in the 1st quarter, and as we entered the huddle for a timeout, our guys were poised and focused and knew that our pressure was going to have an impact on the game eventually. That is the mark of a great team."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams exchanged blows at the start of the fourth, with Hunter Drouin and Liam Connor finding the back of the net, holding Colgate's lead at three at 17-13.
- The Crimson pulled within two at 17-15, but Rory Connor and Ryan Favaro added a tally for the Raiders in the final five minutes to secure the 19-15 victory.
- Matt LaCombe made five saves in the fourth, including stops on back-to-back Harvard shots in the early stages.
- Drouin scored two straight to start the third, giving the Raiders a three-goal advantage at 12-9 with 9:48 on the clock.
- Johnny Hartzell scored his first career goal with 7:27 left in the third, taking it to the house off a faceoff win. Favaro then put one in before the Crimson got one back to make it 14-11 at the end of the quarter.
- Colgate outscored the Crimson 7-2 in the second quarter, taking a 10-9 lead into the halftime break after trailing by four at the start of the quarter.
- The Raiders opened the frame on a 4-0 run. Favaro notched his second 50 seconds into the quarter. Drouin then recorded back-to-back tallies to make it a one-goal game at 7-6 with 11:16 remaining.
- Liam Connor drew Colgate even at 7-7 with 9:43 remaining.
- Following a Harvard goal, the Raiders went on another three-goal spurt, starting with a man-up tally from Rory Connor at the 8:11 mark.
- Casey Quinson found the back of the net for his second less than two minutes later, and Jack Turner followed 43 seconds after.
- Rory Connor got the game's first goal just under two minutes into the opening quarter off a feed from Sam Erickson in transition.
- Harvard scored four straight, including two man-up goals to pull ahead 4-1 at the 6:39 mark of the first.
- Quinson and Favaro added goals late in the first, but the Crimson still held a 7-3 lead at the end of it.
GAME NOTES
- Drouin scored a career-best six goals and tied his career-high in points with seven.
- Favaro recorded career-bests in goals (4) and points (5) after dishing out an assist.
- Liam Connor matched his career-high set last game in points (7) and assists (5).
- Quinson logged the first multi-goal game of his career.
- LaCombe finished with 12 saves in goal.
- Kyle Rummel went 15-of-27 (56%) from the faceoff X and scooped up six ground balls.
- John Carrabine collected four ground balls and logged one caused turnover. Erickson also picked up four ground balls.
