• Ranked fifth in the Patriot League in CT/game at 1.73 after recording six games with multiple caused turnovers
• Logged two caused turnovers and picked up four ground balls in season opener at Air Force (Feb. 18)
• Caused a pair of turnovers and scooped up three ground balls in the Raiders’ win over Navy (March 11)
• Registered four ground balls and a caused turnover against Army (April 8)
• Recorded a career-best seven caused turnovers and six ground balls at Lehigh (April 15)
• Caused two turnovers and had four ground balls in win over Holy Cross (April 28)

2022 (First Year)

• Led the team in caused turnovers with 17, more than double the second place player 
• Finished tied for third on the team with 22 ground balls
• Logged a career best four ground balls and four caused turnovers against Navy
• Recorded three ground balls and a caused turnover against No. 6 Cornell
• Picked up two ground balls and had two forced turnovers in games against Air Force and Holy Cross
• Registered multiple ground balls in seven games
• Had at least caused turnover in every game except one and ground balls in 10 of 13 games.

Before Colgate
A 2021 graduate of Briarcliff High School ... a multi-sport athlete, lettered in basketball and lacrosse ... also competed for the Primetime club program ... a member of the National Honor Society ... also volunteered with the Red Cross and Briarcliff 6th Man.
Stats: Recorded 58 ground ball recoveries, 10 goals, and two assists as a senior. 
Honors: Served as a three-year team captain for basketball, and two-year team captain for lacrosse ... was a Regional and Sectional Champion in 2019, before adding another Sectional Championship title in 2021 ... was also a Regional and Sectional Champion with his basketball team in 2017-18 ... was a two-time All-League, All-Section, and All-State selection before becoming a lacrosse All-American ... was also named two-time All-League for basketball ... honored as the Lohud Section I Player of the Year, named Lohud First Team, and Lohud Second Team in 2019 ... presented with the Ed Hoffman Award as the top athlete in the school.

Born: Aidan John Murnane in Briarcliff, N.Y. 
Family: Son of Denis and Anne Murnane ... has two brothers, Conor and James ... also has one sister, Meghan ... brother James Murnane is a 2018 Colgate graduate. 

Murnane on why he chose Colgate: "I knew instantly upon arriving to Colgate that it was the place for me. The campus and the small town of Hamilton are super similar to my hometown. Also, my brother and everyone else who has attended Colgate, raves about their experience."
