Ortstein graduated from Scarsdale High School in 2023 before spending a post-grad year at The Hotchkiss School in 2023-24…helped Scarsdale win three-straight Class A Section I championships (2021-23)...and back-to-back NYS Regional championships (2022-23).
Stats: Posted 182 points during his high school career, registering 129 goals and 53 assists…tallied 31 goals and seven assists as a senior.
Honors: Was a 2024 All-Founders League selection at Hotchkiss...picked up All-State honors during his final year at Scarsdale (2023)...was also a two-time All-Section and All-League honoree (2022, 2023)...won the C. Nelson Corey II Lacrosse Award at Hotchkiss and was a two-time recipient of the Spencer Repp Memorial Coaches Award at Scarsdale (2022, 2023).
