HAMILTON - Alexia Aubin and
Avery Pickering each tallied two points to help lift Colgate to a 4-2 win over RIT on Saturday in the Raiders' home opener.
First Period
- Addison Tremel scored her first career goal off a dish from Avery Pickering six minutes into the game.
- RIT was able to tie the game at one just before the end of the first frame.
- Farah Walker made 15 saves in the opening period.
Second Period
- Aubin helped regain the one-goal advantage six minutes into the second period off another Pickering feed.
- Aubrey Morrison scored her first career goal with one minute to go in the second with a tip on a Taylor Senecal shot.
- Colgate took a 3-1 lead into the third period.
Third Period
- Aubin appeared to have scored a second goal two minutes into the third period but the goal was reversed after a video review.
- RIT cut the deficit to one with seven minutes to go in regulation.
- The Tigers were forced to pull their goalie and Aubin found the empty net to secure the 4-2 win on home ice.
Notes
- Aubin logged six points in the series against RIT.
- Farah Walker earned the start between the pipes and made 27 saves in the win.
- Aubrey Morrison and Addison Tremel each scored their first career goal.
- Pickering posted her first multi-assist night since Oct. 17, 2025 against Maine.
