Raiders Open Season with 6-3 Win

Aubin logs first career four-point night


ROCHESTER, N.Y.
- Alexia Aubin tallied four points and Madison Cronan scored her first career goal en route to a season opening, 6-3 win over the RIT Tigers at the Gene Polisseni Center on Friday.


First Period
  • RIT opened the scoring 4:57 into the game.
  • Just over 90 seconds later, Chloe Goofers tied the game off a rebound.
  • The Tigers were able to regain the lead halfway through the opening frame.
  • Aubin found Emma Beauchamp in the slot for a deflected goal that tied the game at two apiece.
  • Colgate outshot RIT 15-7 in the first period.
Second Period
  • The Raiders took control early in the second frame with a goal from Dorothy Copetti two minutes in.
  • Madison Cronan tipped in her first career goal off a dish from Taylor Senecal.
  • Aubin scored to make it 5-2 with a backhand off the crossbar and in.
  • Colgate maintained the shot advantage, 32-12 after two periods.
Third Period
  • Emma Pais scored off a Aubin pass on the power play for Colgate's sixth of the game.
  • RIT was able to cut the deficit to three with a goal halfway through the final frame.
  • The Raiders earned a 6-3 win in their season opener.
Notes
  • Colgate outshot RIT, 43-18.
  • Madison Cronan scored her first career goal.
  • Aubin tallied her first career four-point game (1G, 3A). Aubin's three assists is the first time a Colgate player has logged three assists in one game since Elyssa Biederman on Jan. 10, 2026 vs. Clarkson.
