HAMILTON - Ella Bishara netted her second straight hat trick as the Raiders fell 20-9 to Loyola Maryland at Andy Kerr Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Loyola jumped out to a 5-0 lead inside the opening quarter before the Raiders got their first goal with four minutes left in the first.
- The Greyhounds tacked on five more in the first four minutes of the second frame to push the lead to 10-1.
- Kait Henning and Ella Bishara each scored at the tail end of the first half to bring the halftime score to 11-3.
- Henning and Bishara scored in quick succession in the third to cut the deficit to seven but Loyola went on a three-goal surge to end the third quarter.
- Kendall Belanger scored two goals early in the fourth quarter, including one coast-to-coast to bring the Raiders back within eight.
- Bishara completed her hat trick after Aubrey McMahon netted a bounce shot to finish off the Raiders scoring.
