SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Colgate women's ice hockey team claimed the season series sweep against Union Friday night with a 6-0 win.
Danielle Serdachny led the charge for the Raiders, as she tallied two goals and one assist for a team-high three points. The senior captain has 61 points on the year.

Kaitlyn O'Donohoe,
Sydney Bard, and
Dara Greig tallied two points apiece.
Elyssa Biederman slotted in her 14th goal of the season off a breakaway on the penalty kill. Biederman has 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points.
Colgate moved to a 39-0-3 overall record against Union, as the Dutchwomen have only scored one goal on the Raiders in the last five matches.
Greig lit the lamp two minutes into the first for the Raiders, as she slid in her 16th of the season from just outside the paint. Biederman netted the Raiders' second short-handed goal of the season on a breakaway, as she fired one past the Dutchwomen's goalie. Simpson joined the score sheet with a power play clapper with just two minutes remaining in the first.
Captain Serdachny added her third point of the night 12 minutes into the second, as she scored her 20th of the season off a tic-tac-toe play from Kaltounková and O'Donohoe. 2023 Mandi Schwartz Scholar-Athlete Award Nominee Smigliani picked the netminders corner for the Raiders' second power-play goal of the night.
Serdachny potted the final dagger in the game just a minute into the third period as she faked the goalie out and slid the puck into the empty cage. Colgate held on for the remainder of play to claim the season series sweep.
