The Colgate women's ice hockey team welcomed fifth-ranked St. Lawrence University this afternoon to The Class of 1965 Arena for the last regular season ECAC Hockey contest. The Raiders were ultimately handed a 3-0 loss.

The first period was very even, with both teams recording 10 shots on goal. But the Saints were able to capitalize on one of those shots, just over halfway through the period. Brook Webster managed to get one by Julia Vandyk (Cambridge, Ont.) to give St. Lawrence the 1-0 lead.

The Saints struck again with about 11 minutes remaining in the second frame to extend their lead to 2-0. Maggie McLaughlin netted the goal on the power play.

Justine Reyes tallied St. Lawrence's third goal of the game on the power play with just over six minutes remaining in regulation.

The Raiders continued to fight throughout the remainder of the third period and pulled the goalie for the extra attacker with just over two minutes left, but the Saint's defense kept them from finding the back of the net.

Netminder Vandyk made 14 stops in net for Colgate, while Grace Harrison recorded 26 saves.

After the game, the Raiders recognized seniors, Cat Quirion (Lac-Megantic, Que.), Hannah Rastrick (Toronto, Ont.), and Meghan Brennan (Ottawa, Ont.), for their dedication to the program over the last four seasons.
