Rando Posts Season-High 46 Stops

Raiders Fall To #5 Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Conn. – Junior Ashlynne Rando made a season-high 46 stop but the Raiders ultimately fell to No. 5 Quinnipiac 2-0.
 
Melissa Kueber and Breanne Wilson-Bennett notched a team-best four shots each but the Raiders' nationally ranked foe was able to find the net twice.
 
The Bobcats notched two middle period goals after Morgan Fritz-Ward and Nicole Connery tallied markers.
 
Colgate had a few chances to slide one past Chelsea Laden on the power play but couldn't find the equalizer.
 
The Raiders are back on the ice Feb. 13-14 when they host Dartmouth and Harvard in Starr Rink. Friday's game with the Big Green will be Colgate's annual Autism Awareness Game, while Saturday's contest will honor the Raider seniors.
