Biography

Senior Year (2013-14): Appeared in all 34 games for Colgate...ended the season with nine total shots, earning a career-high three shots in a loss to Princeton on Nov. 2...alos registered two shots at Penn State on Jan. 11...finished with two blocked shots coming against Penn State and Quinnipiac...named to the Raider Academic Honor Roll and the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season.

Junior Year (2012-13): Saw action in 31 of the Raiders 35 games...finished the season with three shots coming against Yale, Vermont and Syracuse...also notched three blocked shots verse Quinnipiac, Princeton, and Cornell... named to the Raider Academic Honor Roll and the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

Sophomore Year (2011-12): Played in 32 games…completed the season with two points from two goals…scored her first collegiate goal against Lindenwood on Oct. 14, and then tallied her second goal in the following game against Syracuse on Oct. 19…took two shots in three games against Lindenwood, Niagara and Yale…tallied one shot in four games against Syracuse, Niagara, Princeton and St. Lawrence…finished the season with 10 shots and 0.31 shots per game.

Freshman Year (2010-11): Played in all 12 games, four of which were ECAC Hockey games...made her first collegiate appearance against No. 9 Boston College on Oct. 8...did not register any penalty minutes in the season.

Before Colgate: Was a four-year varsity member of her high school team Choate, where she was also a captain … played for the Connecticut Polar Bears as well ... her team at Choate was the Founders League Champion and placed third in New England … Potolicchio earned the 2007-2008 Hester C Macquire Award for Greatest Contribution to Athletics and the 2008-2009 Eugenia Baker Jessup Award for Greatest Contribution to Athletics … in addition to hockey, she played lacrosse and field hockey where she was a two-time New England Field Hockey All-Star in 2008 and 2009 ... was also a Tri Captain.

Personal: Full name is Caroline Grace Potolicchio … parents are Sam and Pam Potolicchio of Bethesda, Maryland … has four brothers… her uncle Joe Castiglione is the current Boston Red Sox play-by-play announcer...was born in Washington, D.C.
