Before Colgate
Rummel played three-years of varsity lacrosse at Saint Joseph Regional High School, helping the Green Knights reach the NJ Non-Public A state quarterfinals three straight-years (2021-23)...team finished ranked No. 11 in the state in 2022…named team captain as a senior…played club for the New Jersey Riot…academically, he was a 12-time Principal’s List High Honor Roll student, and won the Lasell University Junior Book Award in 2022. 
Stats: Logged a .680 face-off percentage during his high school career (548/810), picking up 316 ground balls and also scoring 10 goals…as a senior he recorded a .700 face-off percentage (196/279), scooping up 130 ground balls and tallying five goals…posted a .730 face-off percentage with his club team
Honors: Was a two-time first team all-state and first team All-Bergen County selection…also picked up first team All-Gibbs Division accolades…earned team MVP in 2022…was selected to the Under Armour NJ Team in 2021 and 2022 as well as the 2022 Under Armour All-Tournament Team…also got named a Top 25 faceoff specialist by The Faceoff Academy
