Dan Senif joined Colgate as an assistant athletic trainer in July 2016, where he works with the men's hockey, and men's and women's rowing programs. Senif also previously worked with the coverage of the women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams.

Senif came to Colgate after a one-year stint at Stanford, where he worked with the Cardinal football and men’s volleyball teams.

Prior to his time at Stanford, Senif earned his master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training from Temple University in 2015. His primary duties with the Owls included men’s gymnastics and field hockey in addition to secondary sport coverage.

Senif earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Castleton University in Vermont in 2013. His clinical experiences as an undergrad included work with Castleton men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s lacrosse and women’s basketball. Senif was also a four-year member of the Castleton football team.

A native of Cooperstown, New York, Senif is certified by the Board of Certification and holds membership in the National Athletic Trainer's Association. He also is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/AED.Â
