Biography

Senior Year (2013-14): Appeared in 11 games in net for the Raiders in his final season ... finished 4-5-1 in over 560 minutes played ... had a 2.43 goals against average and a .917 save percentage ... earned his second career shutout in his first start of the season, which came against Ferris State in a 1-0 win at home on Oct. 6 ... allowed only two goals in his first three starts of the season with a 4-1 win at RIT and a 1-1 tie on the road at Bowling Green ... turned in a great effort against Dartmouth on Senior Night with 34 saves in a 2-1 win to seal the second seed going into the ECAC Hockey Tournament ... ended his career with 32 wins and 83 games played. 

Junior Year (2012-13): Saw action in 19 games for the Raiders in goal ... went 6-8-1 overall with a 2.83 goals against average and a .901 save percentage ... posted 30 or more saves in four games, including three-straight ... pushed aside 106 shots during the three games ... recorded a season-high 37 stops against Yale on the road in an overtime 4-3 loss ... had 35 stops against Union in a 4-1 win at home and registered 34 saves the next night against Rensselaer ... made 34 stops against Quinnipiac on Nov 9.

Sophomore Year (2011-12): Appeared in 28 games between the pipes in his second season ... went 14-12-2 with a 2.88 goals against average ... registered a .898 save percentage and made 693 saves in over 1600 minutes played ... reached 30 or more saves in eight games, including a season-high 40 stops against Ferris State on Jan. 6 ... posted two shutouts and held opponents to two or less goals in 13 games and was 9-2-2 in those games ... two-time ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week ... earned his first weekly honor after a 33-save effort against #14 Nebraska-Omaha to win the Omaha Stampede on Oct. 14 ... made 33 stops in the conference opener against Brown in a 5-3 win on Nov. 4 ... pushed aside 30 shots to earn his first collegiate shutout at Dartmouth in a 4-0 win on the road ... recorded 31 stops against Princeton on Nov. 19 to earn a 4-1 win ... helped beat Yale on Feb. 10 with 33 stops in a 4-2 victory at home ... made a total of 99 saves in the three-game series with Quinnipiac to help Colgate reach ECAC Hockey Championship weekend in Atlantic City ... had back-to-back 29-save performances in game one and two and then followed that with 31 saves in a 4-0 shutout win.


Freshman Year (2010-11): Led the team with 23 starts in net ... started 21 of the last 22 games ... posted a 2.92 goals against average and .903 save percentage ... awarded the Colgate Rookie of the Year honor at the annual All-Sports Banquet ... was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week during the season and was selected as Goalie of the Week three times ... honored as the INCH National Player of the Week after the series win at Rensselaer ... made 30-plus saves in 11 games and finished the season with nine 30-plus efforts in his last 13 ... he went 8-6-1 in his last 14 starts ... held opponents to two or less goals seven times ... made 24 saves in his Colgate debut against Quinnipiac in a 3-1 loss ... started at home with #5 Yale in town and made 28 saves ... had a season-high 39 stops at Robert Morris on Dec. 18 ... earned his first collegiate win with 25 saves against Clarkson in a 4-2 win on Feb. 5 ... made 18 stops and allowed just one goal in an upset win over #8 Rensselaer ... had 30 stops at #9 Union ... pushed aside 33 shots against #16 Dartmouth in a 5-3 win on Feb. 18 ... allowed just one goal and had 27 stops with Harvard in town on Feb. 19 in a 2-1 win ... tied a season high with 39 stops against #3 Yale at Ingalls Rink in a 1-1 tie ... finished the regular season with 38 saves in the loss to Brown on Feb. 26 ... was the first rookie to earn a playoff series win in 16 years ... Dan Brenzavich was the last and it came against Vermont in 1995, who featured Tim Thomas and Martin St. Louis ... the Engineers scored three times in the first period of game one, and then totaled just four goals over the next nine and a half periods, as the teams played about 30 minutes of overtime in the series finale ... made 30-plus saves in two of the three games, including 34 in the overtime win Sunday ... had 38 in game one and kept Colgate in the game until late ... became the first rookie netminder ever in Raiders history to win two playoff series in the same year and knocked off two NCAA Tournament teams in the process ... did all he could in net against #3 Yale with 36 stops on 40 shots by the Bulldogs in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals in Atlantic City... made 29 saves in the consolation game against #15 Dartmouth ... went 4-4 in the postseason with .914 save percentage and a 2.78 GAA ... allowed 24 goals on 256 shots, including just 14 coming as even strength goals.  

Prior to Colgate: Played for the Des Moines Bucs of the USHL and the Baystate Breakers of the EJHL ... appeared with Team USA in its Gold Medal performance in the 2009 World Junior A Championships ... had a 2.18 goals against average for the Breakers and a 3.98 GAA and an .890 save percentage for the Bucs last season ... graduated from Avon Lake High School in 2009.
