Before Colgate
Santarelli played four years of varsity field hockey at Garrison Forest High School…during her high school career, she was named Most Valuable Player in several games….as a senior, she started every game, logged two goals, one assist, and four defensive saves…Santarelli was a two-time IAAM-A Conference Champion and noted as a NFHCA Player to Watch (2023, 2024)…The Maryland native was a multi-sport athlete, participating in lacrosse, badminton, and squash...Santarelli played club field hockey for Freedom Hockey, helping the team finish fourth at the National Indoor Tournament (2024) and fourth at the National Club Championships (2023)...Individually, Santarelli was selected to the Under Armor Select Team (2022) and NEXUS Championship (2023)...academically, she received the NFHCA High School Academic Squad Scholar of Distinction (2024) and was named to the NFHCA National High School Academic Squad (2023).
