PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The women's rowing program will gear up for the 2026 Patriot League Championships held Friday on Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. The races will feature the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, and Second Varsity Four. The winning team will clinch an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.
The first race of the day features the 2V4+ in the second heat with a start time at 8:10 a.m. This crew is ranked sixth in the league and will initially compete against No. 2 Navy, No. 3 Georgetown, and No. 7 Lehigh. The top three finishers in this race will advance to compete in the Grand Final.
The next race that starts at 8:20 a.m. is the Raiders' 1V4+ in heat one. Colgate is ranked eighth in the league and will compete against No. 1 Boston U., No. 4 Holy Cross, No. 5 MIT, and No. 9 Loyola. The top three finishers in this race will advance to compete in the Grand Final.
In the fifth championship race of the day, the Raiders will launch their third boat and compete at 8:40 a.m. in the 2V8+ in the second heat. No. 8 Colgate will compete against No. 1 Boston U., No. 4 Georgetown, No. 5 Bucknell, and No. 9 Loyola. The top three finishers in this race will advance to compete in the Grand Final.
The final race in the morning will feature the Raiders' 1V8+ in the first heat. Colgate comes into their race with its highest ranking in the event in fifth. They will compete against No. 1 Boston U., No. 4 MIT, No. 8 Lehigh, and No. 9 Loyola. The top three teams will advance to compete in the Grand Final.
Afternoon finals will begin at 1:30 p.m. starting with the Petite Finals. Following those races, the Grand Finals will start at 2:10 p.m. with the top six boats. Racing is scheduled to conclude by 2:40 p.m.
