Track and Field Competes at Utica and Penn State

Hallyburton brings home gold in pole vault

HAMILTON – Colgate competed at both the Sykes and Sabock Invitational and the Utica Blue and Orange Invitational on Saturday.

Sykes and Sabock Invitational

WOMEN

Oonagh Last posted an 18th place finish in the 400m.

MEN

Marcus Chu, Joshua Antoine, Joshua Myers, Finn Kosich placed fifth in the 4x400m relay.

Joshua Antoine also placed 16th in the 400m.

Utica Blue and Orange Invitational

WOMEN

Julianna Hallyburton took home the gold in the pole vault with a mark of 3.47m. Melinda Haagensen placed fourth in the event.

Sonia Erbe placed 11th in the high jump.

Kara Shepard, Ava Kletti, and Taylor Mitchell finished 12th, 13th, and 14th, respectively, in the 3000m run.

MEN

Will Terry logged a podium finish in the 400m with a time of 52.01.

Asim Hakim-Florian finished fifth in the 5000m run crossing the finish line at 15.31.97.

Vincent Ryan placed eighth in the 800m.

UP NEXT
The Raiders head to Boston, Mass. to compete in the Boston Valentine Invitational. The meet will take place Friday and Saturday next weekend.
