Addison Spitz added the other tallies for the Raiders who cement themselves into the second seed in the upcoming ECAC Hockey playoffs with tonight's win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders were buzzing early, outshooting the Bulldogs 7-1 to open the contest.
- Spitz scored her third-career goal with five minutes remaining in the first period when she deflected in a shot from Brick.
- Colgate doubled its advantage with Kaltounková's 111th career goal, this time streaking down the center of the ice unchecked and finishing a perfect pass from first-year Alexia Aubin.
- With Murphy standing tall in net, Brick completed her 19th career multi-point outing with a third period goal where Petford created a turnover to pick up the helper.
GAME NOTES
- Murphy added to her record with career shutout number 19, the most ever by a Raider netminder and the eighth-most among current NCAA goaltenders.
- Petford contributed her 10th career multi-point performance in the victory.
