Panetta posts three assists for Colgate

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Men's hockey fell in an 11-goal thriller against Harvard on Saturday night at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After giving up the opening three goals the Raiders clawed back to tie the game at three midway through the second period.

Max Nagel started the scoring late in the first before Tyson Doucette buried two quick goals early in the second. Harvard responded with two goals within 14 seconds of each other and regained a two-goal lead.

After the Crimson netted their sixth of the night, Antonio Fernandez scored late in the second frame to claw back to within two.

Simon Labelle was able to score with eight minutes left to get the Raiders within one but they were unable to break through and equalize again. Harvard held on to defeat Colgate, 6-5.

GAME NOTES
  • Reid Dyck and Andrew Takacs split time in goal.
  • Daniel Panetta logged three assists and he is the first Raider to do so since Tommy Bergsland on Dec. 7, 2024 vs. Cornell.
  • Tyson Doucette posted his first multi-goal performance of his career.
  • 11 goals combined between the two teams in the most in a game since a 6-5 overtime win over Sacred Heart on Oct. 11, 2024.
