BUFFALO. N.Y. — Colgate got off to another hot start in Buffalo on Friday night. Only five minutes after the opening faceoff,

UConn got one back to tilt the momentum briefly in their favor after a goal by Danika Pasqua 30 seconds into the period. A response by

Malia Schneider also got in on the action, scoring her third goal of the season. In the waning minutes,
Eleri MacKay tallied an empty netter on a feed from her twin sister.
Danielle Serdachny also provided one extra insurance goal shortly before the final buzzer to give Colgate the decisive 6-2 lead.Â
Senior netminder
Liz Auby turned in another impressive performance, this time to the tune of 23 saves. She picked up her fifth win of the season in the goal for the Raiders.Â

From the Source
Head Coach
Greg Fargo
- "Those opportunities can be big momentum builders and they were for us tonight. We scored late in both of those power plays, it's great for them to stick with it and cash in."
- "We're a good team when we have 18 skaters making an impact when they touch the ice and a goaltender who continues to stand tall. Not every shift is going to result in goals, but when everyone is committed to play the right way, usually you like the result in the end. That's the type of play we can identify with."Â
