BURLINGTON, Vt. – Shelby Perry (Elginburg, Ontario) scored a pair of goals and had three points to lead the No. 2/2 Colgate women's ice hockey team in a 6-1 rout of the RIT Tigers Saturday evening. The Raiders and Tigers met in the consolation game of the Windjammer Classic hosted by the University of Vermont at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
Perry's two-goal performance was just the second such game of her career and she tied her career-high with three points for the first time since Feb. 10, 2017 at Brown. Her two goals are also the ninth time this season that the Raiders had a player with multiple goals in a game.
Shae Labbe (Calgary, Alberta) was one of four Raiders to tally two points on Saturday as she had a goal and an assist while
Bailey Larson (Sycamore, Illinois),
Breanne Wilson-Bennett (Markham, Ontario) and
Kaila Pinkney (Denfield, Ontario) all picked up two assists in the win. Larson and Wilson-Bennett extended their point streaks to five games with their pair of helpers.
Lauren Wildfang (Waterdown, Ontario) took over sole possession as the second-highest scoring defenseman in program history with a goal on Saturday to give her 64 points in her career, just eight points behind Tara French '07 program record 72 points.

Bailey Bennett (Gardena, California) found the back of the net for the second time this season while
Megan Sullivan (Toronto, Ontario) rounded out the scoring for the Raiders with her seventh goal of the season.
The Raiders came out firing from the beginning of the contest with three goals in the first period to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Colgate's three goals were the fifth time this season it had scored at least three goals in a single period.
After several good looks, the Raiders finally broke through as Perry potted her first goal of the game to stake the Raiders out to a 1-0 lead with 11:01 left in the first period on assists from
Bailey Larson (Sycamore, Illinois) and
Kaila Pinkney (Denfield, Ontario).
Labbe doubled the Raiders lead exactly three minutes late for her team-leading ninth of the season to make it 2-0 in favor of Colgate.
Shelby Wood (Cambridge, Ontario) tallied her third assist on the year while Pinkney picked up the secondary assist for her first career two-assist game.
Colgate took a 3-0 lead 1:40 after Labbe's goal as Wildfang got into the scoring action with her second of the season with 6:21 to go in the first period. Labbe tallied her second point of the night with an assist while Perry added an assist to complete her three-point effort.
The second period picked up right where the first left off as Bennett got the Raiders on the board with 4:02 into the period off assists from
Ellie DeCaprio (Wellesley, Massachusetts) and Wilson-Bennett
After the Tigers got a goal back near the midway point of the second period, Perry reclaimed the four-goal lead for the Raiders on an unassisted goal that made it 5-1 with 8:38 left in the second period.
Sullivan closed out the scoring for the Raiders with her seventh goal of the season near the midway point of the third period to make it 6-1 Colgate. Larson and Wilson-Bennett picked up the helpers on Sullivan's tally.
