- PURCHASE AUTISM AWARENESS JERSEYS
HAMILTON – The Colgate women's ice hockey team will be hosting their seventh annual Autism Awareness Game on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. when they welcome the Rensselaer Engineers to Class of 1965 Arena.
Leading up to the game, there will be puzzle pieces with the details of the game placed around campus and town. Fans can find these pieces and bring them to the game, to redeem for either a gift card to Flour & Salt or tokens for pizza at Slices.
Prior to the game there will be a ceremonial puck drop and the Colgate cheerleaders will be signing the national anthem.
Throughout the game, there will be free ice cream from Gilligans, $1 hot dogs, raffle prizes and chuck-a-puck to raise money for ADHD and Autism Psychological Services and Advocacy. There will also be a Greek Life Challenge taking place at the game.
The Raiders will also be wearing specially designed game jerseys during the contest that will be sold online to raise money for ADHD and Autism Psychological Services and Advocacy (AAPSA), based out of Syracuse and Utica. To purchase the game worn jerseys,

Donations will also be accepted at the game with all proceeds directly going to AAPSA. For more information about AAPSA,

The Raiders first joined forces with this great organization in 2011 to support Kati Williams, a local teenager from Norwich, N.Y., who still serves as a manger with the team. Williams has Asperger's Syndrome, which is an Autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behaviors and interests. She has been an avid Colgate hockey fan and the Raiders credit Williams for being the reason and inspiration they decided to devote to support this cause.
